Randy Francis | Controls Engineering Manager

My name is Randy Francis . I am a controls engineer with 25 years of experience working with manufacturers ranging from the Automotive Industry to the Food Industry. My favorite part of my job is providing industrial equipment solutions along with observing a project evolve from the conceptual & discussion stage of a solution, through engineering, & becoming reality. Keeping our customers happy and building good relationships is as equally satisfying. Years ago, I worked in manufacturing supporting equipment within our facility. I received degrees in Electricity & Electronics along with a degree in robotics during my time working in manufacturing. I parted ways with manufacturing to pursue a career in machine building and automation integration. I worked with an integrator for 12 years building good relationships with customers &

learning the business of machine building & integration. In 2016 I founded R & D Controls to provide industrial solutions using my own team of skilled engineers and tradesman. We operate R & D Controls on the premise to provide large company products, service, & support at a fair, low-margin cost to our customers. Always putting service and support immediately above all else when service and support is required. We are not in business to only provide equipment & automation solutions; we are also in business to support the products afterwards.
